"Confirmation of the following:
• 4 Aug licensed WRL train manager pool expands allowing for all WRL services to resume the use of carriages instead of buses
• Interim work on going to ensure that planned WRL services run as trains/carriages withstanding holiday or unexpected sick leave
• 22 Aug full roster of staff available to provide consistent service using carriages into the future
• Bus replacements going forward would be then due to planned block of line, unexpected infrastructure events such as line or signalling issue/mechanical failure.
An update on the solutions for the following:
• Emergency service incidents
• Signalling infrastructure – imagine there are unexpected events, what’s the reliability assessment of the infrastructure/planned works
• Carriage/engine maintenance or breakdown – reliability assessment of the WRL rolling stock/diesel engine, realise carriage replacements will be coming in 2029/30
• Engine delays to the platform
• Reduced speeds due to other works"
