This report discusses the inundation of previous tsunami
occurring in and around the Wellington region. The
investigation uses a combination of reconnaissance work
and trench digging for identifying tsunami deposits. Research
was carried out in the following areas: Okoropunga, Te Oroi,
Palliser Bay, Pukerua Bay, Titahi Bay and Te Ikaamaru Bay.
